2012-13 Annual Budgets for Student Organizations : GW SBA

The Student Bar Association annual budgeting process allows SBA-recognized student organizations to apply for funds to use throughout the academic year. ?The schedule for this year?s annual budgeting process will be:

• August 28:? Mandatory orientation at 8:00 p.m. in L402. ?This will be the only time to sign up for a mandatory budget hearing. ?This orientation is intended for treasurers but any board member or members may attend.
• August 30:? Budget proposals are due by 5:00 p.m.?to?sbamoney@law.gwu.edu.??Proposals submitted after 5:00 p.m. or to any other email address will not be accepted.??You must include your organization?s official abbreviation in the email subject.??You will receive a confirmation email after your proposal is received, so please contact me immediately?if you have not received that confirmation near the deadline.
• August 31 ? September 1:? Mandatory budget hearings with the Senate Finance Committee. ?Please note that this is Labor Day Weekend but at least one board member from your organization must attend. ?Please contact me immediately if this is absolutely impossible for your organization.
